Hi, I’m Annie, the owner of Fur&Fields Dog Grooming.
I offer one-to-one grooming from my home-based salon in North Scarle, creating a calm and relaxing experience for every dog. Whether your dog is visiting for their first puppy groom, a full groom, a de-shedding treatment or simply a bath and tidy, they will always be treated with kindness, patience and plenty of reassurance.

Meet Annie
Hi, I’m Annie! I grew up on a family farm surrounded by animals, so caring for them has always been part of who I am. After qualifying with my Level 3 Diploma in Professional Dog Grooming, I opened Fur&Fields to create the calm, one-to-one salon I always wished existed.

What to Expect on Arrival
From the moment you arrive, my aim is to make both you and your dog feel as relaxed as possible. Fur&Fields is a calm, one-to-one home salon, so there won’t be any busy waiting rooms or lots of other dogs around.
We’ll have a quick chat about how you’d like your dog groomed, I’ll assess their coat and talk through anything I should know, such as any medical conditions, allergies or anything they might be nervous about. This also gives your dog a chance to have a little sniff around and get comfortable before we get started.
Once you’re happy, I’ll take great care of your dog throughout their appointment with lots of patience, reassurance and treats (if allowed!). Every dog is groomed at their own pace, and their comfort and welfare will always come first.
At the end of the groom, I’ll let you know how they got on, share any advice if needed and, of course, you’ll be reunited with a happy, fresh-smelling pup!

Salon Policies
A few simple policies help appointments run calmly, safely and fairly for every dog and owner.
Appointments
Please arrive on time. If you are running late, contact Annie as soon as possible. Arriving more than 15 minutes late may result in the appointment being shortened, rescheduled or cancelled.
Cancellations
At least 48 hours’ notice is requested when cancelling or rearranging an appointment. Late cancellations or missed appointments may incur a cancellation fee, payable before future appointments can be booked.
Matting
The dog’s welfare is always the priority. If a coat is severely matted, clipping it short may be the safest and kindest option. This will be discussed with the owner wherever possible and may result in an additional £10 charge.
Fleas and health
Owners must inform the groomer before the appointment if their dog has fleas or shows signs of illness. Fleas may result in the appointment being stopped, and an additional cleaning fee may apply.
Behaviour and welfare
Every dog is groomed with patience and kindness. If a groom becomes unsafe because of stress or aggressive behaviour, the appointment may be stopped and next steps discussed with the owner.
Photography
Photographs may be taken of freshly groomed dogs and shared on the website or social media. Owners may opt out by informing Annie.
Before every appointment
Client Disclosure and Consent
All relevant information must be disclosed before the appointment, including:
- Medical conditions
- Allergies
- Injuries
- Medication
- Previous surgery
- Behavioural concerns
- Bite history
- Mobility issues
- Anything else that may affect the groom
Following a booking, the owner will be asked to complete a Client Information and Consent Form. It must be completed honestly and accurately before the appointment.
Failure to disclose relevant information may result in the appointment being stopped or future bookings being declined if safety is compromised.
